A quick progress update on the synthetic turf installation at Albert Park, Parks Victoria has informed us that they expect the fields to be available for use by mid-April following the Grand Prix.
The VFDA is currently discussing the various league options available as Easter falls in the first week of April and Nationals follows 3 weeks later. We will announce these as soon as they have been finalised. Social League on Wednesdays will resume as early as possible.

Southern Regionals was held on the weekend. Congratulations to Team Box for wining the women's division, and Heads of State for winnig the open division. Final placings below.

*UPDATE*
Games start at 10am on Saturday and run until 5pm. On Sunday the first game is at 9am with the Women's final at 2:30pm followed by the Open final at 4pm.

Sporting Uniform Grants Program 2009–10 |

The 2nd round of the "Our Club, Our Future – Sporting Uniform Grants Program 2009–10" has opened.
Grants of up to $1000 are available
Application deadline is February 28th, 2010.
Funding is available for the purchase of sports uniforms and footwear that are essential for participation in sport.
For clubs that are not incorporated, the VFDA is more than happy to act as your auspice to manage the grant funds.
