Games are to be played in accordance with the latest WFDF rules with the following amendments:
  1. Team Numbers: The minimum number of players per team is 11.

  2. Mixed competition: Minimum 5 women and 6 men or vice-versa are required for mixed divisions. A maximum of four players of either gender are allowed on the field at any one time. At the start of each point the offensive team nominates to field either four women or four men, and the defensive team must gender match.

  3. Fees: A player or team must pay the appropriate Division fees on playing their third game in any season. Any team who plays or who fields a player who is playing their third or greater game without paying the appropriate Division fees will forfeit their game.

  4. Player eligibility: New players may not be added to a teams roster after the specified roster lockout date. All players must be registered in the teams roster on the AFDA website. Teams may not field players who are not on their roster.

  5. Game Completion: Games are to 15 points, with a half at 8, or to timecap, whichever occurs first. When the timecap is reached (as indicated by the League Coordinator), the current point in progress should be completed. If a game is stopped prior to timecap or point limit (for example for bad weather), the current score stands when the game has progressed to either half the timecap or the point half, otherwise a "no result" is declared. THE LEAGUE FINAL is to be played to an "add 1" points cap (ie. after time cap, add 1 to the highest score to get the new points cap).

  6. Team Ranking will occur in the following order: Competition points; Ranking Criteria; Disc flip. Competition points are allocated as follows: a win is worth 4 points, a draw 2 points, no result 2 points, a loss 0 points, and a forfeit 0 points. The Ranking Criteria are:
    1. Number of games won, counting only games between the teams that are tied.
    2. Fewest games forfeited.
    3. Goal difference, counting only games between the teams that are tied.
    4. Goal difference, counting games against all common opponents.
    5. Goals scored per game, counting only games among the teams that are tied.
    6. Goals scored per game, counting games against all common opponents.forfeits.

  7. Minimum Numbers: The minimum number of players to be fielded is 5. If a team does not field 5 players on the line at the start of the game a 5 minute time out will be awarded against this team. If after 2 timeouts the team still does not field 5 players that team will forfeit.

  8. Forfeit: If a team gives 24 hours notice of a forfeit to the opposition and the League Coordinator, they get their average spirit score (rounded up). A team gets 0 for spirit for a forfeit with less than 24 hours notice. Forfeits have a point margin of 10-0. Opponents get their average spirit score (rounded up).

  9. Disputes: Non-compliance with these rules will result in game forfeit, as judged by the Division or League Coordinator (the principles of common sense and Spirit of the Game to prevail). Any ongoing disputes between teams will result in a forfeit by both teams.

  10. Spirit Captain: As well as nominating a Captain, each team must nominate a Spirit Captain who shall have a copy of the current WFDF rules.

  11. Division 2/3 Roster Limit: A team is allowed any number of elite players on its roster, but only three elite players are allowed on the field at the same time (a maximum of two per gender). An elite player is a Worlds (Open/Women/Mixed), Worlds Squad or a key player at Nationals level. (The opposition does NOT have to match the number or gender of Elite players for each point) Players must indicate their status on the registration page and this will be adjusted at the discretion of the LD. If players are uncertain of their status they should contact the LD. In keeping with Spirit of the Game teams are expected to self regulate this rule. At the beginning of each game team captains should advise each other who their elite players are. Note: if a team has 4 elite players and only 3 non elite players present they must still adhere to this rule i.e. only field 6 players. It is the responsibility of each team to ensure they have sufficient players present to comply with the League Rules.
