First Ever Wednesday Social - Hood of Origin Tournament (FEWSHOOT)
Come play a free tournament on Wednesday night. 8 teams will battle for the title in back to back to back games. Three shortened games for each team will see the field reduced from 8 to 4 to 2 to winner, all between 7PM and 9.30PM on Wednesday 12 September. It's free, but please email if you plan to attend. Include your name, where you were born and the suburb in which you currently reside.
Details.
- When: Wednesday 12 September from 7PM sharp. BE EARLY.
- Where: Albert Park Fields
- Cost: Nothing -- it's Social League
- Who: Everyone from first time beginners to seasoned pros
It's going to be some sort of hat tournament though I will base that decision on the number of people who turn up. Ideally it will be some sort of state/neighbourhood of origin tournament. Thus the "Hood of Origin."
Additionally, it is VERY important that you arrive on time. I suspect that heaps of people will turn up without replying to this email and so I'll have to assign players to teams right at the start. But if everyone is present by 7PM (6.45 would be better, 6.30 would be unreal), this non-trivial task might take under 10 minutes.

 As most of you should know by now the VFDA AGM is coming up next Tuesday. One of the main purposes of this meeting is to elect a new committee to run Ultimate in Victoria. For the past 2.5 to 3 years I have been the President of this Association and I am ready to let someone else take on this position in the future.
