The Wednesday Night Social Division games are for all players, regardless of experience level. The aim is to provide a division where new players can be introduced to the game in a relaxed and friendly environment, and where current players can be assured of a fun game while helping new players. You can join at any stage of the season; simply come along for a run.

The cost for the Social Division is $50 per person for the season, including membership to the AFDA. Social League starts at 7:00 PM with a training session run by professional coaches. You can learn anything from the fundamentals of ultimate through to the most advanced styles of play.

From 8:30 until about 9:30 we play games. Each team is run by a Captain drawn from one of the local clubs. The Captains will change each week, as will the teams. At the end of the evening, the Captain will nominate a Most Valuable, Improved and Spirited Player. When the season wraps up, the three players who have accumulated the most nominations will be crowned in their respective category and win a lovely beer related prize (unless they are underage, in which case they will win a different prize).
